Double clicking on it gives me the message "this device is working properly." of reassurring.

The phone is properly install when I plug it in, but the software still does not seem to see it. plugged in, removed and replugged in the phone. hard starts the phone by removing the battery. installs the cable to the USB port at the back (after having tried both ports at the front) of the computer. uninstalled and reinstalled twice - 2nd uninstall was a "hard" uninstall where I deleted the registry files by hand. because I can't get rid of the error message dialoge box, and I can't click on the menu options in the BB Desktop Manager. Make sure that the user has entered in the Desktop Manager and select options > connection settings > detect. » One in particular, that I can't do is " Office Manager shows"off".
